Bennett graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a degree in accounting and later earned an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). After his licensure as a Certified Public Accountant, he started his career in 1992 with J.C. Bradford & Co. and is now an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. Bennett has more than 30 years of experience giving financial advice.
As a native of Putnam County, Bennett grew up on the family’s cattle farm and is now the sixth generation to own that land. Bennett and his wife, Kristi, are now empty-nesters after raising four daughters. Bennett’s hobbies include reading, traveling to off-the-beaten-path locations, and flying his 1968 Cherokee Six and his self-built Just Highlander bush plane.
