Michelle is a valued team member at MapleCross Wealth Management. She earned her BS in business administration from Tennessee Tech University and began her career in the financial services industry in 1995.
An Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, she also is a wealth advisor at MapleCross and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation, which allows her to master the process of setting up and maintaining retirement plans for businesses. Michelle is an independent advisor dedicated to helping clients meet their financial goals through investment consulting and financial planning. She helps educate clients in the planning process, allowing them to make informed decisions. Her goal is for clients to feel prepared and confident in their financial decisions for many years. Michelle believes in building long-term relationships by taking the time to understand each client personally. She strives to help her clients meet the demands, desires, and needs in a continually changing economic environment.
Michelle stays active outside of the office. She sings in the choir at her church, participates in Habitat for Humanity’s Cooking on the Square, and volunteers her time for various local missions. She is an active parent at Highland Rim Academy, where she serves as bookkeeper. Michelle is a graduate of Leadership Putnam, Cookeville Citizens Police Academy, and Cookeville Citizens Fire Academy, and she has served on the Friends of Genesis House board.
In her spare time, Michelle is an avid bookworm, and she loves to travel. Some of her favorite destinations are Jordan, Scotland, New York City, and anywhere with her RV and a campfire. She and her husband, Tony, have a daughter and four dogs, two cats, and a few fish. The Whiteaker family enjoys adventure and enjoys hiking, shooting, and camping together.
